Town of Neva Sand and Salt Mixture on our roads

In the last week there was a posting on one of the Antigo Info sites where the posted stated that the county was putting down other than the sand/salt mixture.

So I emailed the Langlade County Highway Department and rest assured the Town of Neva does get the sand/salt mixture AND the sand/salt mixture is what is available to Neva residents at the Town parking lot.

I do monitor the amount and once it get low, more is ordered. The amount in the back is because it is old and the rain or time has allowed the salt to be leached out. Each year I have bought salt and combined it to the sand but that portion I did not. It should be done in the summer for next fall to use.
